12-4pm on Sunday, March 28nd at Mark Rosenstein & Jody Renouf's
home in Cambridge.
The agenda is:
- Introduction of Nominees for President and Clerk
- Voting for President and Clerk
- Lunch
- Open Forum Discussion on Goals for 2010
- Ferret Freedom Day Celebration with cake and
Ferret Appreciation Award for 2010
We hope to see you at this meeting as your input will be extremely
important
in helping the new board work on the goals established.
This is a non-ferret event, so please
give the fuzzies a kiss and an extra
treat before leaving the house. They will be missed as they always
add so
much to any event.
Please RSVP to Jody, clerk@maferrets.org.
DIRECTIONS
Since we are meeting on a Sunday, there is parking in the
neighborhood (The resident permit only areas are not in effect
on
Sundays). You can get
directions from Google, or read on. If you get lost, please call
617-497-7715 for additional directions.
By Mass Transit: we are on the Red Line (subway), so parking at
the
commuter lots at Alewife or Braintree makes it very easy to get
here,
though you can transfer from any part of the MBTA system. Take
the Red
Line to "Porter" in Cambridge. When you reach street
level, look for
the Breugger's Bagels across the street. The side-street next to
Breuggers is Upland, and we live at 129 Upland, about 2 blocks
up on the
right, a yellow house at the top of the hill.
From 95/128: take Route 2 East in from 128. When Route 2 quits being
a
divided highway in Cambridge, go left on Alewife Brook Parkway (Route 16). Take a right on Massachusetts Ave (Rt 2A) at the next traffic light. Go 1.2 miles, then take a right on Upland Rd at the traffic light across from the subway station (look for the tall red metal sculpture on the left). Our house is at 129
Upland,
two blocks forward on the right. You can park on Upland or the
cross
streets where it says "Permit Parking Only (Ex. Sun)" because
it is
Sunday.
From the Central Artery : take the Storrow Drive exit. Go several miles westbound on Storrow towards "Newton". Take the Harvard
Square exit, taking a right to cross the Charles River and proceed
forward through Harvard Square. Once you are through the center
of the square, you will have Harvard Yard on your right and a white
church on your left. Take the left fork, then get in the right-hand
lane to bear right at the next light. You are now on Massachusetts
Avenue. About a mile forward you will reach Porter Square. Make
a left on Upland Rd at the traffic light (Breugger's Bagels will
be on your left, and a small plaza with a subway stop on your right).
Our house is at 129 Upland, two blocks up on the right. You
can park on Upland or the cross streets where
it says "Permit
Parking Only (Ex. Sun)" because it is Sunday.
