Volunteers at Adoption/Education events: We would like the adoptable and foster kids to be highlighted as much as possible, so please check with Diddy for the South Shore and Kathy Street for the North Shore before bringing your personal ferret to one of these events.

Ferret Education Day
Saturday, August 9 2014 12:00pm- 2:00pm
at Petco, 790 Waverly Road, North Andover, MA. Free ear cleaning and nail clipping. Please note: Our adoptable ferrets are at the shelter in Plymouth, MA or in foster homes just North of Boston. Not all Petco events will have an adoptable ferret; some will be the volunteer’s personal ferret to be used for educational purposes. We do not adopt out on the spot at a Petco event. Adoption requires an application being filled out, submitted and reviewed by our shelter director with a follow up phone call. We do not rush this process, our goal is to make sure that it is a good fit and appreciate your understanding that the ferret's best interest is always a priority.

Cookout and meeting (humans only)

RSVP to president@maferrets.org for the address in Woburn. Also please bring some food to contribute to the cookout. Let Kathy know what you'd like to bring when you RSVP.
