Hotline: Diddy - Vet list has been updated and will be posted on MaFF website.
Hospitality: Ronnie – Sending cards as needed.
Audit: Bill Williamson, Jan Fleury, Amy Robins, Tracey Goodwin – No formal meeting to date. Feel the organization is operating well thus far.

Webmaster: (Mark Rosenstein):
Forums – Set up and ready for use. Encourage all members to utilize as means of communication. Photo gallery on site. Can submit photos to Mark and he will include. Encouraged members to send any seasonally related photos for use. Put disclaimer on product warnings forum – wanted to add so people realize all posts are opinions and not necessarily MaFF’s position.

Legislation/Legal: (Sharon Burbine)
Discussion: Public Hearing regarding licensing for pet shops. Jan and Sharon attended. A revised report should be available in early June.
Action Items: Jan to send Lisa a copy of the report.

Merchandise Marketing Strategy:
Discussion: $44.95 sold so far.
New item for sale – Ferret frame. Orders to be taken. Lisa will order through her contact.
Conclusions: Portion of sale goes to MaFF account, remainder to shelter assistance fund.
Action Items: Lisa to order frames.

Events
Discussion:
Pet Fest – May 23rd. (attending)
Ferret Services of Freedom – May 23rd (sent donation and raffle basket)
Ferret Stock – September 11th
Boston Pet Expo – Sept. 25 - 26

Education: (Jill Northrup)
Discussion: Jill handling education. Have many goals and educational targets.
Conclusion: Voted on education targets that we feel are most important. Animal shelters, Pet store staff and people thinking about buying/adopting a ferret are areas that we want to target first.
Action Items: Work study group: Lisa, Diane, Phyllis, Ronnie, Jan and Jill will work on proposed budget to present to MaFF.

Meetings:
Next meeting set for August 14th (since changed to August 21st). To be held at Diane Wall’s home. Time 11:00 – 4:00. Meeting followed by Cookout with games, merchandise, raffles, etc. Ferrets invited!
